My name is Glenn Cruz.

I have 20+ years of experience in IT. I've worked across corporate, retail, construction, legal, real estate, engineering, and higher education. I've received the BSA (Berkeley Staff Assembly) Award for Architect of Empowerment and the MES Modern Marvel Award from The Channel Company.

I've also served as CFO and board member of a non-profit IT consulting organization.

Alongside IT, I've coached volleyball for 15+ years. I have experience coaching kids from age 10 to 22, across high school, club, college, high performance, and USA Volleyball. I've coached against international teams in Europe.

Most companies in AI right now are building models or AI data protection. I built Suoja for something different: AI safety for the user. Protection from harmful AI recommendations, in real time, while people use it.

The idea came after I spoke at an AI event. I started building the process and the tool after attending the RSA conference. Somewhere between those two, I talked to a family member who is a family therapist. I asked about AI involvement in suicide cases. The therapist told me it is real, but there isn't enough research yet, because AI is still new. They also tell me what's actually happening with families and children right now in the AI era.

I'm a parent of two autistic children. I've been through ABA therapy with them and I have a working understanding of how the therapy world treats vulnerable kids.
